What's Behind the Painted Wall of Tutankhamun's Tomb?
KV 62, the tomb Howard Carter opened in Egypt's Valley of the Kings in 1922, has four small rooms and one painted chamber. The Egyptologist Nicholas Reeves reads that chamber's north wall as the blocked door to a larger tomb, perhaps Nefertiti's, and a 2026 report maps chambers beyond it. This investigation follows the paint, the radar and the gravity map, and the radar that found no chamber.
